Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 bunch of chives, washed and finely chopped, alternatively parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

quick dressing suitable for salad, cold meat and fish dishes

In a bowl, first mix the mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth. Then add the milk and then the tomato ketchup. Note: Although the fat content of the mayo, cream, and milk affects the flavor, I don’t want to dictate to anyone what fat content to use. Personally, I prefer classic mayonnaise to salad mayonnaise and I like to use whole milk. If desired, add 1/2 to 1 whole bunch of washed and finely chopped chives. Finally, season with salt and pepper. Tip: I leave out the chives when, for example, I add spring onions to my salad and like to use very finely chopped fresh parsley instead.
