American Jalapeno Cheeseburger with HOT-Wedges and Jalapeno-Burger Sauce

The perfect american jalapeno cheeseburger with hot-wedges and jalapeno-burger sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

American jalapeño burger sauce

  • 4 Pc. Hamburger buns
  • 4 disc Cheese
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 0,5 Pc. Diced shallot
  • 0,5 Pc. Pickles
  • 0,5 Pc. Pickled jalapeño
  • 1 Knife point Estragon mustard
  • 0,5 tsp Tomato paste
  • Freshly chopped chives
  • Salt
  • Red pepper

HOT wedges

  • 5 Pc. Potato
  • 2 tsp Chili oil
  • 2 tsp Chili paste
  • 2 Pc. Clove of garlic

accesories

  • 8 disc Tomatoes
  • 8 disc Jalapeño
  • 4 disc Cucumber
  • Onion rings

Alternative accessories

  • Roasted onions
  • Pickles
  • Bacon slices

Jalapeño mayonnaise

  1. Halve the (medium-sized) pickle and shallot, finely chop one half each. Cut half the jalapeno (optionally inserted slices) into cubes.
  2. Mix the cucumber, jalapeno, onion and a pinch of mustard with 3 heaped tablespoons of mayonnaise (made according to the basic recipe).
  3. Finally, season with salt and rose pepper and mix in some tomato paste concentrate for the color and taste, including the chopped chives.

HOT wedges

  1. Wash 5 medium-sized potatoes and cut them into quarters.
  2. Mix with the chilli oil and chilli paste, press in the garlic and mix well.
  3. I recommend my hot sauce in the form of paste and oil hot chili sauce: HOT SAUCE as a seasoning and spicing agent.
  4. Bake in the oven at approx. 180 degrees hot air for 20 minutes.

The patties

  1. Divide the ground beef, knead half of it well for better protein binding.
  2. Mix with the other half and form 4 flat patties.
  3. It is best to grill with burger tongs, alternatively fry briefly on both sides

The cheeseburger

  1. Halve the burger buns and grill / fry briefly on the cut surface until golden brown. The sugar in the bread caramelises, compacts the roll so that it does not soften as quickly and also results in a good taste component. Alternatively, you can briefly put the roll halves in the oven while it is still hot.
  2. Salt and pepper the still hot patties and top each with a slice of cheese (preferably red cheddar).
  3. Spread the rolls thickly on both sides with the jalapeno burger sauce, fill with a meat patty including cheese and other accessories to taste.

My favorite

  1. Cover the patty with cheese, onion rings, some iceberg lettuce, 2 slices of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber and 1-2 slices of pickled jalapenos.
