Andi's grits with orange juice

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can peach(s)
  • ½ liter orange juice
  • 200 g sugar
  • 125 ml peach juice from the can
  • 50 g cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Drain the peaches, reserving the juice. Bring the orange juice and sugar to a boil, cut the peaches into small pieces, and add. Dissolve the cornstarch in the canned juice and set aside. When the mixture begins to boil, stir in the dissolved cornstarch and continue to cook, stirring continuously, until a firm mixture forms. Pour into dessert glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Garnish with a little garnish before serving.
