Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 250 g sugar
- 15 g anise powder
- 4 egg whites
- 1 pinch of salt
- Flour for the work surface
Instructions

Combine flour, sugar, anise powder, and a pinch of salt. Beat the egg whites until stiff and knead with the dry ingredients to form a dough. Wrap in cling film and let rest in the refrigerator for at least one hour. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about a centimeter thick and cut out approximately 16 cookies. Bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper for about 15 minutes on the middle rack. Let cool and store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
