Anja's chicken drumsticks on bouillon vegetables

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 small chicken drumsticks
  • Salt
  • Pepper, coarse
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp instant broth
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 750 g potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • ½ bunch parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Rub the legs with salt and pepper and sear them vigorously in hot oil. Then continue to sear over medium heat for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally. Bring ½ liter of water and the bay leaf to a boil and stir in the broth. Finely chop the potatoes, carrots, and leeks and simmer in the broth for 12-15 minutes (depending on the size of the pieces). Season the vegetables with salt and pepper and stir in the chopped parsley.
