Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g pork mince
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 apple (Boskop)
  • 150 g prunes
  • 150 g apricot(s), dried
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing
  • 150 g cranberries from the jar
  • Tabasco
  • 1 orange(s), juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Great as a starter for six or main course with salad for four people

Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix the ground mince, chopped onion, diced apple, sliced ​​plums and apricots, one egg, pepper, salt, and half a tablespoon of cinnamon well with your hands or a fork. Line a loaf pan with baking paper. Roll out the puff pastry, place it in the pan, and fill the pie crust with the pie crust. Seal the puff pastry over the crust and brush with egg yolk. Bake the pie for 50 minutes in a preheated oven (180°C). Mix together a sauce made from cranberries, orange juice, and a dash of Tabasco. Let the pie cool briefly, lift it out of the pan using the baking paper, slice, and serve with the sauce as a starter or with salad as a main course.
