Broccoli strudel

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
  • 1 small head of broccoli
  • 150 g ham
  • 150 g grated cheese (e.g. Gouda)
  • 1 egg(s) for brushing
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • salt and pepper
  • Mixed fresh herbs as desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with ham and yogurt-herb dip

Divide the broccoli into small florets and briefly blanch in boiling salted water. Drain and refresh. Cut the ham into small cubes. Unroll the puff pastry and top with broccoli, ham, and grated cheese. Season with pepper and roll into a strudel. Brush with beaten egg and bake in the oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Mix together the sour cream and yogurt. Season with salt, pepper, and finely chopped fresh herbs. Serve the strudel with the yogurt dip.
