Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 250 g butter or margarine, soft
- 220 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 50 ml egg liqueur
- 200 ml whipped cream
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- 12 tsp eggnog
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
enough for 12 pieces
Line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper baking cups. Beat the eggs and sugar until very fluffy. Stir in the butter, then add the egg liqueur. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and fold in gently, without stirring vigorously! Now pour the batter into the muffin tin. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (conventional oven: 160°C) for approximately 25-30 minutes. Test for doneness with a wooden skewer. After baking, remove from the oven and let rest in the tin for another 5-10 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack. Whip the whipped cream with the powdered sugar, pipe into a piping bag, and decorate each muffin with a wreath of whipped cream dots. Pour 1 teaspoon of egg liqueur into the center of each muffin. Not only does it look beautiful, but it also makes a very fluffy cake. For adults only! Tip: Also tastes wonderful with Baileys.
