Antipasti – Mushrooms in garlic oil

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 bulb(s) garlic, peeled
  • 500 g mushrooms, brown, quartered
  • e.g. olive oil
  • n. B. Balsamic vinegar, white
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring a pot of water to a boil and add salt. First, boil the peeled garlic cloves from one whole bulb. After about 5 minutes, add the washed and quartered mushrooms and cook for about another 5 minutes—until the mushrooms have firmed slightly and the garlic melts in your mouth. Then place the mushrooms and garlic in a bowl and add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste. Let it marinate overnight. Be sure to check the seasoning again the next day before eating. Many thanks to Irini.
