Apple and carrot porridge with oat flakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g apple, peeled, chopped
  • 50 g carrot(s), peeled, chopped
  • 8 g butter
  • 15 g oat flakes
  • 50 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the fruit and vegetables together with the water, oats, and butter for 10 minutes until soft, then puree. Our daughter had a hard time introducing fruit and cereal porridge in the afternoon, so I added half of the carrots to the mix for the transition.
