Baby-led weaning (BLW), without salt, from about 8 months, tastes good for the whole family
Boil the pasta in hot, unsalted water until soft. For babies who can handle the pincer grip, choose small pasta such as Fleckerl. Otherwise, use fusilli, which babies can hold easily. In the meantime, cut the tomato into very small cubes. Halve the avocados, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh from the skin. Mash 1 1/2 avocados with a fork until puree. Cut the rest of the avocado into small cubes. Season the avocado puree with a few squeezes of lime juice, crushed garlic, and cayenne pepper. Strain the pasta, reserving some of the cooking water. Return about 4 tablespoons of the cooking water to the hot pot and place it back on the stove. Heat the diced tomatoes briefly. Add the pasta, avocado puree, and diced avocado, and mix everything together. This quantity is enough for two adults and one baby.
