Apple and carrot salad with condensed milk

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 large apple, e.g. Braeburn
  • 1 tbsp walnut oil
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1 small orange(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. sugar syrup or liquid sweetener
  • e.g. lemon juice or vinegar, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

traditional style

Grate the carrots and apple, either with or without the skin. Squeeze the orange and add the juice. Add the condensed milk and oil, and season with sugar syrup or sweetener, salt, and pepper. If you need a little more acidity, add a little lemon juice or a splash of vinegar. A handful of chopped almonds or walnuts, or hazelnuts, go well with this.
