Apple and orange juice crumble

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large apple
  • ½ orange(s)
  • 60 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 20 g cane sugar
  • 30 g butter or 25 g rapeseed oil
  • some vanilla pulp or tonka bean zest

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash, core, and dice the apple. Squeeze the orange juice and the apples into ovenproof serving bowls. Knead the crumble topping until it reaches the right consistency and then pour it over the apples. Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 20 minutes. (Larger bowls or casserole dishes will require more baking time.) Serve fresh. Serve with vanilla or chocolate ice cream, vanilla or chocolate sauce, or whipped cream.
