Apple and passion fruit crumble

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large apples
  • 2 passion fruit(s)
  • 100 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 50 g butter or 40 g vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp oat bran
  • some tonka bean shavings
  • 25 g cane sugar, you can also use 50 – 100 g if you want it to be sweet or very sweet

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash, core, and dice the apples. Halve the passion fruit and scoop out the fruit. Divide the apple and passion fruit pieces into 4 oven-safe mini-serving dishes. Knead the crumble from the listed ingredients. You can adjust the sweetness to your liking. The more sugar, the crispier it will be. Spread the crumble over the fruit. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes. Of course, the crumble can also be served as a main course in a larger dish. However, this will take 45-60 minutes in the oven, and you should allow approximately 3 dessert portions per person.
