Apple and Poppy Seed Croissants
The perfect apple and poppy seed croissants recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Apple
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 75 g Ground poppy seeds (finished product)
- 1 pack Puff pastry croissant
- 1 tbsp Sifted powdered sugar
- Peel, halve and core the apple and cut the pulp into small pieces. Simmer with the poppy seeds and lemon juice in a saucepan for about 5 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection 160 degrees). Place the triangular pieces of dough side by side on the work surface. Put a little apple and poppy seed mixture in the middle. Roll triangles into croissants.
- Place the croissants at a distance on the baking sheet lined with baking paper, bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar while warm.
