- some cinnamon
- 100 g margarine
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g spelt flour
- 80 g barley flakes, kernel

Roughly dice the apples, peeled or unpeeled, and place them in a baking dish. Stir in the juice of one lemon and a pinch of cinnamon. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Combine the softened butter in a mixing bowl with all the remaining ingredients for the dough. Finally, add the flakes and knead the dough. Spread the resulting crumble over the apples and bake on the middle shelf for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.
