Apple – blackberry – jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 800 g blackberries, frozen or fresh
  • 600 g apples
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 1 pack of citric acid
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel, core, and finely chop the apples, and cook until half cooked. Add the blackberries and bring to a boil briefly. Purée the fruit with a hand blender and let cool slightly. Add the gelling sugar, vanilla sugar, and citric acid, bring back to a boil, and simmer for three minutes. Stir thoroughly, remove the pan from the heat, and continue stirring for one more minute. Then pour the jam into preserving jars, screw the lids on, and let stand for five minutes.
