- 250 g flour

- 4 large apples
- some lemon juice

- some cardamom

- 200 g almond flakes

simple but delicious cake
Make a shortcrust pastry from the dough ingredients, line the base of a springform pan, and form a raised edge. Peel 4 apples, dice them finely, or grate them. Drizzle with lemon juice, add a little cinnamon and cardamom, and mix well. Spread the apples on the shortcrust pastry. For the icing, bring the butter, sugar, and cream to a boil, thicken with 3 tablespoons of flour, fold in the flaked almonds, and scatter them over the apples. Bake at 175°C (convection oven) for about 50 minutes. Cover the cake halfway through if necessary to prevent the almond topping from overbrowning.
