Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g flour
- 3 eggs
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Cinnamon
- 1 ½ kg apples
- 100 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 200 g walnuts
- Fat, for the shape
- Breadcrumbs, for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours
For the dough, whisk together the sugar, flour, eggs, and baking powder until fluffy, adding cinnamon if desired. Pour into a greased springform pan dusted with breadcrumbs. Peel the apples, cut them into thin slices, and arrange them on top of the dough. Press down lightly. The pan should be filled to the brim. For the topping, melt the butter in a saucepan and add the sugar. Roughly chop the walnuts and scatter them over the apples. Spread the butter and sugar over the apples. Bake at 180-200°C for about 1 1/2 hours.
