Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of ready-made yeast fruit cake dough mix from Mondamin (1 inner bag)
  • 125 ml milk
  • 500 g apples
  • 150 g yogurt (1.5% fat)
  • 200 ml Cremefine, for whipping
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 30 g cornstarch
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 10 g butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Knead the contents of the dough mix sachet with the lukewarm milk. Pour the dough into a greased springform pan (26 cm diameter), forming a rim about 3 cm high. Let the dough rise in the pan for about 10 minutes. Wash, peel, core, and slice the apples, and spread them on the dough. For the icing, mix Cremefine with yogurt, eggs, sugar, and cornstarch. Pour the icing over the apples. For the brittle, roughly chop the walnuts, place them in a pan with the butter and sugar, and toast until brittle, stirring constantly. Remove from the pan, let cool, and break into small pieces. Spread the walnut brittle over the edge of the cake. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (gas mark 2-3, fan oven 160°C) for 35-40 minutes.
