Ingredients for 18 servings:
- 240 g flour
- 90 g oat flakes
- 1 tsp baking soda
- some nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- some salt
- 110 g butter, soft
- 150 g sugar
- 2 tbsp beet syrup
- 1 egg(s)
- 240 g applesauce
- 130 g raisins
- Fat, for the shape
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Preheat the oven to 150°C. Grease a 20x30cm baking pan with a little butter. Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the oats, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, and salt and mix well. Combine the butter, sugar, and beet syrup in a bowl and beat until fluffy. Add the egg and applesauce and mix well. Add the flour mixture and raisins and mix everything into a dough. Spread the batter evenly in the cake pan and bake for about 15-20 minutes. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
