Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g bread(s), stale
- 1 liter of milk
- 150 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 m.-sized eggs
- 100 g butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 m.-sized apples
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp raisins (optional)

from bread scraps
Cut the bread into small pieces and soak in the milk for 2 hours. Mash and mix well. Peel and core the apples, then dice them. Mix all ingredients together (except the powdered sugar). If the batter is too runny, add a little breadcrumbs. If you like, you can add a tablespoon of raisins. Pour the batter into a greased and breadcrumbed springform pan or loaf pan and bake on the middle rack of the oven at 160°C for 1 hour. Check occasionally and cover with aluminum foil if the cake is getting too dark. Remove the cake from the pan, let it cool, and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
