Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ liters of apple juice
  • 450 g sugar
  • 3 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 0.7 liters of rum
  • e.g. apples

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 7 days; Total time approx. 7 days 15 minutes

Let it steep for just one week

Combine the apple juice, sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan and heat until the sugar dissolves. Then pour into a container and add the rum and, if desired, the fresh apples; they should be covered with liquid. Let it stand for about a week, then filter and bottle. Especially at Christmas time, you can vary the liqueur with different spices!
