Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 bottle of vodka
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 12 carnations
  • 12 cardamom, whole
  • 1 orange(s), untreated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Total time approx. 2 days 10 minutes

Place the sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and cardamom seeds in a 1-liter bottle. Pour in the vodka, close the bottle, shake, and let stand for 24 hours. Wash an orange thoroughly and peel off the top layer in a long strip. Place the orange peel in the bottle with the vodka and spices and let stand for another 24 hours. Then strain the liquor and serve well-chilled with a Christmas buffet.
