Apple cinnamon muffins with oat flakes

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 75 ml oil
  • 250 ml milk, low-fat
  • 150 g flour
  • 150 g oat flakes
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 400 g apples
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Combine eggs, sugar, and salt in a bowl and mix well. Stir in oil and milk. Combine flour, oats, baking powder, and cinnamon and stir in. Wash and chop the apples, then fold them in. Pour the batter into small paper baking cups and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (gas mark 3, fan oven 160°C) for about 25 minutes. After baking, let the muffins cool and then dust with powdered sugar.
