Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 230 g butter
  • 160 g powdered sugar
  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 150 g walnuts, ground
  • 500 g apples
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 125 ml cream
  • Cake icing, chocolate
  • jam

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Beat egg whites until stiff. Cream the softened butter with the egg yolk and sugar until creamy. Stir in the flour mixed with the baking powder, pudding powder, nuts, and cocoa powder with the cream. Grate the peeled apples over the batter and fold in the beaten egg whites. Spread the batter onto a prepared 30×40 cm baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 20-25 minutes. Once cooled, cut the cake in half and spread jam on one half. Place the second cake half on top and spread with chocolate glaze.
