Apple Crumble and Vanilla Parfait on Fruits with Strawberry Sauce

The perfect apple crumble and vanilla parfait on fruits with strawberry sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the Apple Crumble:

  • 300 g Flour
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 170 g Butter
  • 1 Msp Cinnamon
  • 4 Pc. Apples
  • 500 g Applesauce
  • 2 Msp Cinnamon
  • 0,5 Pc. Lemon

For the strawberry sauce:

  • 190 g Sugar
  • 130 ml Water
  • 300 g Fresh strawberries
  • Grand manner

For the vanilla parfait:

  • 500 g Cream
  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 3 Pc. Egg yolk
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1 Pc. Vanilla pods (pulp only)

Apple Crumble

  1. Peel and core the apples and cut into small pieces. Mix with applesauce, lemon juice and cinnamon and place in an ovenproof dish. Streusel Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with your hands or a mixer until you get the streusel. Then pour these crumbles over the apple mixture in the mold.
  2. Bake the whole thing in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees. Let cool down a bit before serving.
  3. Chop the strawberries with the hand blender and slowly add the water-sugar mixture while stirring. Mix everything well. Add Grand Marnier (to taste).
  4. Strawberries may need to be thawed if they are frozen berries. Put the water and sugar in a saucepan. Reduce over medium heat until the mixture pulls strings on a wooden spoon.

Vanilla parfait

  1. Beat the sugar, egg yolks, eggs and vanilla pulp over a warm water bath. Then beat cold. Fold in the whipped cream. Pour the mixture into a mold and let it freeze overnight in the freezer. Take out of the freezer ten minutes before consumption and let thaw.
