Apple crumble cake with cream topping

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 225 g butter, melted
  • 400 g flour
  • 275 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 eggs
  • 800 g apples, sour
  • 250 g sour cream
  • Butter for the mold
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Butter a 26 cm springform pan. Combine the flour, 200 g sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Then add the melted butter and 1 egg. Mix everything with a fork, then press together with your hands to form crumbles. Pour half of the crumble into the pan and press down. Quarter, peel, core, and thinly slice the apples and spread them on the crumble base. Combine the sour cream, 4 eggs, and 75 g sugar and pour over the crumble. Sprinkle the remaining crumble on top. Bake the cake on the lowest rack for about 50 minutes. Let it cool in the pan on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
