  • 125 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

can also be made with cherries, then just cherry crumble cake

Make a shortcrust pastry from the dough ingredients and chill for about 1 hour. In the meantime, for the quark filling, make a pudding from pudding powder, milk, and 60g sugar. Let it cool slightly, then stir the remaining filling ingredients into the pudding. Roll out the shortcrust pastry on a greased baking sheet and spread with the quark mixture. Peel and quarter the apples, remove the cores, and cut the quarters into wedges. Moisten with a little lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Top the quark mixture with the apple slices or sour cherries. I usually do half and half (for half and half, one jar of sour cherries is enough, drained well beforehand). Knead the remaining ingredients into a crumble and spread over the fruit. Bake at 170°C for about 50 minutes! It shouldn’t get dark!
