Apple crumble with orange and pomegranate juice

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large apples
  • ½ orange(s)
  • ¼ pomegranate
  • 80 g brown cane sugar
  • 150 g wholemeal spelt flour or wholemeal wheat flour
  • 4 tbsp almonds, ground
  • 100 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash, halve, core, and dice the apples. Halve the orange and juice one half. Divide the pomegranate, remove the seeds from one quarter, and blend it with 1-2 tablespoons of water if needed. Place the apple pieces in 4 ovenproof serving bowls. Combine the juices and add to the bowl. Make the crumble by mixing all the ingredients thoroughly. Spread the crumble over the fruit. Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) fan-assisted or 200°C (400°F) top/bottom heat for 15-22 minutes. Serve the crumbles with powdered sugar, cream, or ice cream, for example.
