Separate the eggs, sift the flour with the baking powder, grease a Bundt cake tin with butter and sprinkle with flour, and preheat the oven to 170°C. Cream the butter with half the icing sugar and the vanilla sugar until light and fluffy, then gradually add the egg yolks and beat again until light and fluffy. Beat the egg whites with the remaining icing sugar until stiff peaks form. Peel and quarter the apples, cut out the cores, and then finely grate them. Stir the sifted flour, nuts, chocolate, and apples into the butter mixture, then carefully fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the mixture into the Bundt cake tin and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Once the cake is baked, remove from the oven, let cool briefly, and turn out while still warm. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
