Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, from the refrigerated section
  • 2 apples
  • some cinnamon powder and sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Spread out the puff pastry roll and cut into 8 equal pieces. Peel and core the two apples, then quarter them. Place an apple quarter on each piece of puff pastry and sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar on the apple, if desired. Then close the puff pastry around the apple. If you like, you can also sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar on the outside. Place the apples in their puff pastry shells on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the oven at approximately 170°C (340°F). This will ensure the apple is also soft. Best served warm!
