Apple Juice with Hint of Lemon

The perfect apple juice with hint of lemon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 kg Apples fresh
  • Sugar
  • 3 piece Lemon balm sprig
  • 1 Steam extractor
  • Water
  1. Wash apples, cut in half or quarter, put in the basket of the steam extractor
  2. Wash lemon balm, pluck leaves and flowers and add to the apples
  3. Sprinkle sugar over it to taste (I take between 50 and 200 grams, depending on the degree of ripeness of the apples)
  4. Now bring the water in the steamer to a boil and extract the juice from the apples. This can take up to 3 hours.
  5. Pour the hot juice into clean and hot rinsed glass bottles and enjoy after cooling
