delicious with amaretti and egg liqueur

Roughly crumble the amaretti with your hands (reserve a few for decoration). Whip the cream. Place 3/4 of the cookie crumbs in a bowl and drizzle with 4 tablespoons of eggnog. Layer 3/4 of the cream and the applesauce one after the other on top of the crumbs. Garnish with the cream, the remaining crumbs, all the amaretti, and the liqueur. You can make several layers, even with crumbs in between. This will look great, especially in a glass bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
