for lovers who love the sweet game with hot fire

Mix flour, salt, milk, sugar, and egg into a light batter. Peel the apple and slice it thinly. Melt the butter in a pan. Pour the batter into the pan and arrange the apple slices on top. When the batter begins to loosen and the underside has turned golden, carefully turn it over and lightly brown the other side. Meanwhile, heat the Calvados in a ladle (metal, of course) over a hotplate. Remove the pan from the heat, light the Calvados, and pour it over the pancake while it’s still piping hot. To serve, split the pancake and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Vanilla ice cream and/or homemade caramel sauce flavored with Calvados complete this simple yet sophisticated dessert.
