Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 400 ml whipped cream
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup hazelnuts, grated
  • 1 cup cocoa powder, instant
  • ½ cup oil
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 400 g apples, peeled and pitted
  • 400 g pear(s), peeled and pitted
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Cake icing, chocolate

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and oil until creamy, stir in the cream, nuts and cocoa, and add the flour mixed with the baking powder. Spread the batter into a prepared tin (approx. 30×35), top with the sliced ​​apples and pears and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for approx. 30 minutes, then beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks and spread on the cake. Bake for a further 10 minutes. Once cooled, drizzle with chocolate icing. The cake is rather shallow; if you want it higher, use a smaller tin and keep in mind that the baking time will be slightly longer.
