Apple – Pear – Compote
The perfect apple – pear – compote recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 kg Apples
- 2 size Pears
- 2 Tl Vanilla sugar
- 1 Msp Cinnamon
- Lemon juice
- 0,5 Vanilla pod
- Peel and core apples and pears and cut into cubes.
- Put in a saucepan. So much water that the bottom is just covered and slowly simmer until the pieces are nice and soft.
- Scrape out the vanilla pod and add to the compote. Throw in the pod. Add lemon juice to taste, sugar and cinnamon and cook for another 10 minutes. simmer.
- Then mash with a potato masher.
- Fill the Twist Off glasses while they are still hot and close the lid immediately. Make sure that the edge is clean before closing.
- Store cooled glasses in the refrigerator. They can be kept for about 1-2 months.
- Goes well with pancakes, rice pudding, ice cream or just like that.
- Please fish out vanilla pods before stamping ;-).
