Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 2 ½ tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g butter, soft
  • Fat for the mold
  • 1 kg apples (e.g. Holsteiner Cox)
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

for a 26cm springform pan

Combine the flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, and butter, and mix everything with a mixer until crumbly. Grease a 26 cm springform pan. Spread 2/3 of the crumble topping on the base of the springform pan and press down, forming a rim about 3 cm high. Peel the apples and cut them into wedges. Mix the apple slices with the lemon juice, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon, and spread them on the base. Sprinkle the remaining crumble topping on top. Place the pan on the oven rack and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 50 minutes.
