Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • some lemon zest, grated
  • 800 g apples
  • lemon juice
  • some almonds
  • some raisins
  • possibly marzipan, grated
  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • Butter, for spreading

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

First, knead the ingredients for the crumble dough and refrigerate. Peel, core, and slice the apples. Soak them in lemon water until ready to use. Mix the ingredients for the shortcrust pastry together and spread them in a buttered, round springform pan. Cover the dough evenly with the apple slices, scattering some grated almonds and a few raisins on top. If desired, you can also sprinkle grated marzipan on top. Spread the crumble dough over the cake. Bake the cake for about 40 minutes at 180°C. After baking, brush the still-warm cake with melted butter. It’s best enjoyed lukewarm with freshly whipped cream.
