Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 80 g butter or margarine
- 125 g spelt flour
- 75 g brown cane sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- some milk
- some cinnamon
- 2 apples
- powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
For an 18 cm springform pan: Wash, peel, core, and quarter the apples, then score them like small fans or slice them into wedges. Grease and flour the springform pan or line it with baking paper. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until light and fluffy. Then add the eggs and cream again until light and fluffy. Slowly stir in the flour and baking powder, adding a little milk if the batter is too stiff. Pour the batter into the springform pan and arrange the apple slices/quarters on top. I sprinkled the apples with a little cinnamon. Then place the springform pan in the tray of the oven. If you have one, place the grill rack in low (i.e., turn it so that the little feet are at the bottom), then place the springform pan on the rack. But you can also do without. Bake at 180°C for approx. 25-30 minutes. Cover halfway through if necessary (works wonderfully with the round baking pan) to prevent the cake from getting too dark. After cooling, dust with powdered sugar. Note from Chefkoch.de’s recipe editor: When making this recipe, it’s important to consider your experience with your air fryer. Do a skewer test after the specified baking time and extend the baking time if necessary. Cover the cake to prevent it from overcooking.
