Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 6 m.-sized apples
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • ½ cup(s) water
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pkt. pudding powder (vanilla)
  • 1 dash of lemon juice
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cake base

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Apple pie with grated apples

Peel the 6 apples and then grate them with a fine grater. Whisk together everything except the cup of cream while cold, then transfer to a saucepan and simmer gently until a thick paste forms. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in approximately 70g of butter. Spread the mixture evenly onto a ready-made or homemade tart base (fruit tart base). Let the tart cool (preferably in the refrigerator). Garnish with freshly whipped cream just before serving.
