Apple Pie with Almonds and Raisins

The perfect apple pie with almonds and raisins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Yeast cake batter:

  • 380 g Rye flour
  • 25 g Yeast
  • 130 ml Milk
  • 0,2 l Water
  • 80 g Butter
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest, grated

Covering:

  • 200 g Apples, cut into wedges
  • 80 g Almonds
  • 50 g Raisins
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 50 g Sugar, fine
  • 10 piece Butter flakes

Cake yeast dough:

  1. Mix the ingredients flour, yeast, warmed milk, warm water into a pre-dough and leave to soak in a warm place covered (20 minutes). Then knead the egg, sugar and the warmed up butter into a yeast dough and then cover the dough in a warm place and let it stand (1 hour) until it is properly swollen.

Sheet cake:

  1. Preheat the oven to approx. 200 ° C, cover the tray with baking paper and roll out the dough, brush with butter flakes and cover with the apple wedges. Mix the almonds, raisins and lemon juice with the sugar and spread over the wedges.

Baking time:
