Apple Pudding Cake from Tray
The perfect apple pudding cake from tray recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough
- 250 g Sugar
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 400 g Flour
- 250 g Margarine
- 5 Pc. Eggs size M
- 50 ml Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
For the pudding
- 2 packet Vanilla pudding powder
- 200 g Sour cream
- Vanilla sugar
For the sprinkles
- 200 g Butter
- 140 g Sugar
- 300 g Flour
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1,5 kg Apples to taste
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection)
- Quarter the apples, peel them, remove the core and cut into slices (you can make the thickness of the slices as you like) and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Cook the vanilla pudding according to the package instructions and allow to cool a little.
- For the dough: Beat the margarine until frothy and slowly pour in the sugar. Gradually add the eggs and mix with the milk to a creamy mass. Sieve the flour and baking powder over the mixture and mix everything together and stir to form a smooth dough.
- Spread the dough evenly on a baking sheet.
- Now stir the sour cream into the still warm vanilla pudding and spread over the dough. Now distribute the apple slices on top.
- For the crumble: knead the flour, butter, egg yolk, cinnamon and sugar together to make crumble and spread over the apples.
- Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
