Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter apple juice, cloudy unsweetened
  • 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 apple
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Squeeze the lemon. Wash the apple in lukewarm water, zest it thoroughly, quarter it, core it, and then thinly slice the quarters. Pour the apple juice and cinnamon sticks into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Then add the apple pieces, lemon juice, and honey and simmer for five minutes over medium heat.
