Apple rice pudding

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 1 tsp liquid honey
  • 125 g rice pudding
  • 1 apple, approx. 200 g
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine the apple juice and honey in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the rice pudding, stir, and bring to a boil. Let the rice pudding swell over low heat with the lid partially on for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. In the meantime, wash and dry the apple, quarter it, and remove the core. Cut the apple quarters into thin wedges, then into small, bite-sized pieces. Mix the sugar and cinnamon. Stir the apple pieces into the rice pudding. Enjoy the rice pudding with the cinnamon-sugar and raisins, cold or warm.
