Apple Sponge Cake

Ingredients
 

  • 6 Apples, sour
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 125 g Butter
  • 300 g Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 g Chopped almonds
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 75 g Sugar
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the drip pan

Instructions
 

  • Wash, peel and halve the apples, cut out the core and cut the apples into wedges. Drizzle with lemon juice.
  • Beat eggs, salt and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until thick and foamy for at least 7 minutes. Bring the butter and milk to the boil and let them run hot into the whipped egg mixture. Stir in.
  • Mix the flour and baking powder, sieve into the egg mixture and carefully fold in with a whisk. Put the thin dough in a greased drip pan in the oven that has been sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Spread the apple wedges evenly on the dough.
  • Mix the almonds, sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the cake.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 25 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
