Apple Stollen Crumble

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 5 large apples
  • 90 g brown sugar
  • 90 g butter
  • some cinnamon powder
  • 1 Stollen, approx. 750 g
  • 200 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel and dice the apples and place them in a baking dish. Cut the stollen into small pieces and place them in a bowl. Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the stollen along with the sugar and cinnamon. Knead everything into large lumps and spread it over the apple pieces. Sprinkle the flaked almonds on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 25 minutes. The apple stollen crumble tastes best warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
