Apple strudel / apple parcel light

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 sheet of dough, Yufka / filo dough 31×30 cm
  • 2 small apples
  • 3 tbsp vanilla dessert sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Milk
  • Butter-vanilla flavoring

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel, quarter, and core the apples. Dice the apple pieces and mix with cinnamon and sugar, adding a little lemon juice if desired. Let them sit. Then preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Place a sheet of filo pastry on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Mix a little milk with the butter vanilla flavoring and lightly brush the dough with it. Place the apple cubes in the center of the pastry and fold in the right and left sides. Then the top and bottom sides to form a small parcel. Brush the parcel again with the milk and place it in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. Serve with the vanilla dessert sauce. The apple parcel is delicious and filling and only has 4 PP.
