Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper, from the mill
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 small onion(s), red
  • 6 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

with red and white onions

Mix vinegar, salt, and pepper with 1 tablespoon of water. Peel and halve the shallot and red onion. Grate one half and finely dice the other. Add both to the vinegar. Finally, stir in the oil.
