Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 kg apples, peeled and cut into small pieces (wedges)
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp water, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy. Add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar and mix well. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir into the mixture. Peel and finely chop the apples, and fold them into the batter. Place the mixture on a greased baking sheet and bake at 200-220 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes. Once the cake has cooled slightly, pour the combined ingredients for the glaze over it and let it cool. It also tastes delicious served lukewarm.
